About the Map Gallery
The Map Gallery provides a "self-serve" way to view and use maps produced by the Metropolitan Council. It is regularly updated with the most current data available.
The maps in the Map Gallery are in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. In order to view and print these maps, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. There are three map sizes available: letter (8 1/2"x11"), tabloid (11"x17") and large (plotter sized up to 36" x 48") - although not every map may be available in all three sizes.
The Met Council does not provide printing services for maps available in the Map Gallery. There are a variety of print service companies that can print larger format maps on plotters. Smaller format maps can be saved and printed on regular printers. The Metropolitan Council does not provide custom revisions to these maps or custom map design services. GIS data used for these maps are available via MN Geospatial Commons, which can be used in GIS software for you to create your own custom maps.
