RailWorks crew use rollers to deliver rail to 4th Street in downtown St. Paul
Crews for RailWorks delivered rail using rollers the evening of July 14 to Fourth Street. Rail was pulled from an outdoor welding shop on 12th Street north of Interstate 94 down Jackson Street to Kellogg Boulevard. From there, workers backed it onto Fourth Street and pulled it on rollers just west of Robert Street until the entire length of rail was on Fourth. Then, they pulled it eastward to Broadway and Fourth to begin laying the second set of tracks.
