Lucy Coffee Cafe and other Central Corridor businesses open during construction
Lucy Coffee Café opened June 20 on the Fairview Avenue side of the Griggs-Midway Building at 540 Fairview Ave. N. within a block north of the LRT construction zone on University Avenue. Owner Julie Peck decorated the café with repurposed décor purchased from the nearby Hotel Furniture Liquidators, 1800 University Ave. W. She rounds out her menu of specialty coffees, teas, smoothies, pastries, sandwiches and salads with food from other restaurants on the corridor, such as burritos from Homi Mexican restaurant at 864 University Ave. W. in St. Paul.
