Egg & I Restaurant focuses on access during CCLRT construction

Outreach and construction staff have been working with property and business owners since early 2009 to develop access plans during construction of the Central Corridor LRT line. Iain Cochran, community outreach liaison for Walsh Construction which is building the line’s eastern seven miles, shows plans to Barbara Hofmeister, property manager at the Court International building. The plans show how Walsh will maintain access for customers to the Egg & I Restaurant on the University Avenue side of the building. The building at University Avenue and Highway 280 will be in the first phase of construction on the western St. Paul end of University Avenue. Construction will begin in March on the south side of University at Emerald Street and progress eastward toward Hamline Avenue.
