Corridor businesses express concerns at public hearing

Pete Vang, the new chair of the Hmong Business Association and business manager of Vang Dental Clinic in St. Paul, spoke May 29 during the first public hearing on preliminary design plans for the Central Corridor LRT Project. Vang said he was concerned how businesses will fare during construction, which is to begin in 2010, and about the potential for increased assessments from the city of St. Paul and Ramsey County to pay for street improvements on University Avenue.
