The Central Corridor Infill Stations Environmental Assessment (EA) is available for public review and comment through February 10, 2010.

What is the Infill Stations EA?

  • This document is being prepared by the Met Council on behalf of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to analyze the social, economic, and environmental effects of construction of above-grade elements of three potential infill stations at Western Avenue, Victoria Street, and Hamline Avenue in the City of St. Paul.

Why is the Infill Stations EA being done now?

  • The June 2009 Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) included the construction of below-grade infrastructure for the three potential infill stations. Since then, project sponsors have obtained a commitment for local funding to build the above-grade elements of one infill station and seek to include that station in the final CCLRT project scope. The EA is being completed in accordance with federal NEPA requirements.
