In January 2008 the Metropolitan Council held 7 public update meetings to present current information about the Central Corridor project. More than 400 people attended the update meetings. In February 2008 the Council held 4 listening sessions to seek public comments on the project. More than 300 people attended the listening sessions and 88 provided oral testimony. In addition to verbal public comments, the Metropolitan Council received 154 emails, 26 letters, 17 comment cards and 3 petitions.
