Public involvement
Public input has had a significant impact on the Central Corridor project over the past three years.
Planning
- The Community Advisory Committee and the Business Advisory Council have met monthly since 2007 to discuss details about the project, share community and business concerns, and offer suggestions. The CAC and BAC held their last meetings in March 2010.
- More than 40,000 people have presented ideas at 2,500 public meetings held by project staff since September 2006. Staff compiled public concerns and suggestions and shared them with project designers and engineers.

Construction
As the project enters construction, outreach staff will provide information about construction-related activities as well as serve as liaisons between the public and contractors.
