The Central Corridor light rail project's public involvement initiatives are designed to educate the public on all aspects of the project, and provide opportunities for interested parties to actively contribute to the decision making process.

Community Advisory Committee (CAC)

The CAC will be the primary avenue for corridor residents, business owners and groups to provide ideas and input on the project. The CAC chair is Jerry Blakey. See the CAC charter.

Business Advisory Council (BAC)

The Business Advisory Council (BAC) will provide business input on project design and construction mitigation issues. See the BAC charter.

Community Outreach Coordinators

New staff members assigned to specific areas along the route will share information with the community and collect feedback about such critical issues as station design and access, traffic, safety, parking and mitigation of construction impacts. More about the community outreach staff.
