Livable Communities Act (LCA) Survey

The Livable Communities Act of 1995 (LCA) requires that the Metropolitan Council report to the Minnesota State Legislature every year on the progress being made by metro area communities toward providing life-cycle and affordable housing for their residents. This information is obtained through a survey called the Livable Communities Act (LCA) Survey (MS Word). This survey requires information on the production and cost of new housing in each community, and officia controls and programs designed to achieve LCA goals.
