Andersen Windows in Bayport employs 4,500 people; the vast majority drive in from outside the city. The campus covers 105 acres between downtown and the river.
The American Legion is a favored venue for community events in Bayport and houses the city’s senior center.

John DeCurtins, Stillwater, is a regular patron of the Reading Room at the Bayport City Library.
The Minnesota State Correctional Facility, commonly called the Stillwater Prison, is actually in Bayport. At the time it was built, Bayport was called South Stillwater. The prison houses 1,400 inmates, almost half of the city’s population.
The St. Croix Valley chapter of the American Red Cross, the Andersen Foundation and other organizations have offices in this new building on 5th Ave. N. in Bayport.
Homes are under construction at the new conservation development, Inspiration, located on top of the bluffs on the west side of the city.
A historic gas station serves as the office for JR Transmission, a general auto repair shop in Bayport. Now the pumps are just for show.
Residents enjoy the playground at Lakeside Park, one of four parks in the small city. The St. Croix River is the backdrop.
