The 2007 Job Access and Reverse Commute(JARC) and New Freedom Solicitation Packages

Overview

The Metropolitan Council is the designated recipient of Federal Transit Administration funds under two programs: Job Access and Reverse Commute (JARC) and New Freedom. These funds are formula-based and awarded annually by the FTA. The FTA requires that the funds be regionally solicited in a competitive manner. The Metropolitan Council intends to solicit for these funding programs biannually starting with federal fiscal years 2006 and 2007.

The application deadline for these solicitation packages is August 20, 2007.

There are two workshop sessions planned for these solicitation packages at the following times and locations:
