No contamination cleanup funding from the Tax Base Revitalization Account (TBRA) or affordable housing funding from the Local Housing Incentives Account (LHIA) will be available for the Spring funding cycle in 2009. The 2009 LCA Fund Distribution Plan will be released as soon as possible, once funding levels have been determined, which may not occur until after the legislative session. The 2009 calendar will be updated in the Fund Distribution Plan. There will be no Livable Communities Demonstration Account (LCDA) pre-application for 2009.
Potential TBRA applicants are encouraged to apply to other existing contamination cleanup assistance programs at MN Department of Employment and Economic Development, Hennepin County, Ramsey County, MN Pollution Control Agency, MN Department of Commerce, MN Department of Agriculture and MN Department of Health during their first round of funding in 2009.
Updates regarding LCA grant programs will be posted on the Livable Communities web page.
