Grants, funds and fee waivers

The Council has several programs that provide funding and fee waivers to local communities to assist their planning, development, housing, and environmental initiatives. These include:

Livable Communities Grants

• Tax Base Revitalization Account (TBRA) grants
• Livable Communities Demonstration Account (LCDA) grants
• Local Housing Incentive Account (LHIA) grants

Regional Solicitation of Federal Transportation Projects

Funding for regional projects or programs to be funded by the Surface Transportation Program (STP), the Congestion Mitigation/Air Quality Program (CMAQ), and the Transportation Enhancements Program (TEP) of Title I of the reauthorized Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century (TEA-21).
