Master Water Supply Plan Public Review

In 2005, the Minnesota Legislature directed the Metropolitan Council to undertake specific water supply planning activities, which included the development of a Metropolitan Area Master Water Supply Plan. The goal of the Mater Water Supply Plan is to guide sustainable water use. To that end, involvement from the Department of Health, Department of Natural Resources, and metropolitan area counties and communities as well as the legislatively established Metropolitan Area Water Supply Advisory Committee was crucial to the development of the Plan.
