2008 - 2017 Capital Improvement Program

Project #8041, Hopkins System Improvements

Description:

This project will modify/replace the existing 30-year old forcemain and lift station to overcome  existing operational problems and to provide long term, reliable service to the City of Hopkins.    The Hopkins Lift Station and forcemain was constructed in 1971. Alternatives that will be    evaluated  in the facility planning phase include: building a new forcemain; renovating the existing   lift station; and building a new lift station. Interim improvements, to keep the existing lift  station  operating until the ultimate solution can be built, are included in Project #8002, Hopkins  LS/FM  Improvements.
