Project #8039, Chaska Lift Station  

Description:

The project consists of the design and construction of a new 21 mgd custom built replacement  pumping station at the former WWTP site to provide long-term capacity to serve Chaska, Carver,   and areas to the west. The project includes the demolition of wastewater treatment facilities from   the phased-out Chaska WWTP.

Purpose and Justification:

The projected development within the Cities of Chaska and Carver will cause wastewater flow to exceed the present interim lift station capacity by the year 2009.
