Description:

This project provides for the construction of a field-fabricated submersible type four-pump lift   station located approximately 300-feet north of the existing L-12 site. The new lift station will have   a rectangular split wet well and a valve vault. A superstructure will house a control room,  emergency generator, ventilation, heating, and sanitary facilities. One hour of emergency storage   at the average flow will be made available by upsizing the 300-linear feet of inlet gravity sewer to   90-inch diameter. The lift station will discharge into a new 16-inch diameter forcemain. The   existing  forcemain will be cleaned, inspected, and remain in service as a redundant barrel. The   existing lift station will be demolished when the new station becomes operational.
