Regional Partnership to Address I/I Wins National Award
April 2009--The National Association of Clean Water Agencies announced it will bestow a 2009 Operations Award for Environmental Achievement on Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES) for the Inflow and Infiltration Reduction Program.
Cities Make Headway in Addressing Inflow and Infiltration
December 2008--The approaches to stopping inflow and infiltration (I/I) of clear water into sanitary sewers are as varied as the communities that are tackling the problem. But the efforts are adding up.

Use this 2009 I/I Procedure Manual (pdf) for all work activity planned for the 2009 calendar year and the potential I/I surcharge for 2009.

Bills/charges/fees to residents are not sent by the Met Council; resident bills are coordinated by the individual resident's city.
