2013 Summer Internships at the Council

This year the Council’s Summer Internship Program has 63 internship opportunities at departments throughout the Council.  These internships provide students with a chance to learn about the Council, apply their education to real-life work opportunities and prepare themselves for future jobs. 

These  jobs pay $17.36 an hour.  Most positions start May 20, 2013 (11 in Transit will start in April) and are full time during the summer.  Some continue part-time during the school year.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this program students must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution and have competed one (1) year of their program OR have graduated and been accepted into and plan on attending graduate school Fall 2013.

Students may apply no more than 2 internships to give them their best chance.  Students need to attach a resume and a letter of recommendation from their school advisor or an instructor
